NYANSAPO (Only the wise can untie the wisdom knot)

What is appropriate counter-racist logic (thought, speech and/or action) to use among AFRIKAN people to 1) minimize the varying degrees of mental illness we suffer as a result of our exposure to racism AND 2) minimize our participation in the maintenance of this racist (white supremacist) social order?

One suggestion passed to me through a dear warrior woman from one of our own scholars, Kwesi Ra Nehem Ptah Akhan, is to practice this process:

1. Be aware of yourself as a descendant of the land of Afuraka. (Afrika)

2. Maintain a perspective on every situation as a descendant of the land of Afuraka. ( Afrika)

3. Make your final decision rooted in the knowledge of what is correct and just.

4. Determine what is required in order to carry out the decision.

5. Act / Carry out the decision.

6. Keep focused on the validity of the decision.

7. Take ownership of the decision, your behavior, and the result.

If, during the course of evaluating and/or re-evaluating your decision you realize an error in judgement or action, just repeat the process from the beginning.
