Terror Yields Trauma

The Door of No Return.
What happened here? What has happened since we passed through
this chamber of horror. Dr. Joy Leary, in her theory "Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome", has examined and labled the experience and determined that a form of psychological trauma was experienced by the Afrikans herded through these corridors. An experience unlike any other form of indentured servitude to date. We as Afrikans seem to know, all too well, the holocaust of other groups and deny the reality of our own Afrikan HOLOCAUST. Perhaps the memory of that reality is far too painful and interfers with our efforts and desires to assimilate into the very culture responsible for the trauma.....hmmmm.... True HEALING may require an examination of what has happened since our trek through this doorway; the brutal and inhumane conditioning experienced upon reaching the destination, and how that conditioning has been transferred through generations to become a factor in the modern day 'traditions' and 'behaviors' practiced and displayed by Afrikans born and bred in amerika.
